April 27th will be remembered as a historic day for the Trinx brand and the team led by Luca Bramati. After the successes achieved in MTB, the latest of which was signed yesterday by Pietro Cao in Stevenà di Caneva, and those obtained in cyclocross in the 2022/23 season, the Trinx brand bicycles are also speeding on the road thanks to junior Giorgia Pellizotti, who was able to win the 4th Trofeo Città di Gossolengo, in the province of Piacenza (in the photo by Flaviano Ossola, the finish).

The sixteen-year-old, in her seasonal road debut, had the satisfaction of preceding in a four-rider sprint the Russian Polina Danshina, Elena De Laurentiis, and the U23 Silvia Milesi, recently second at the Liberazione di Roma race.

Thus, the rider from Treviso has written her name in a roll of honor that includes athletes such as Francesca Pellegrini (now a professional with the UAE Development Team), track world champion Anita Baima, and Chantal Pegolo from Friuli.

«I had planned to do some road races and, in agreement with Luca Bramati, I chose to debut today in a race with a hilly course, so as to exploit my climbing characteristics», explained Giorgia (in the photo by Flaviano Ossola, on the podium). «The race was decided on the climb 15 km from the finish line: Silvia Milesi attacked, behind her there were three of us and, after a long chase, we caught her 5 km from the finish line. Then in the final sprint, I managed to come out on top». 

A success that surprised everyone, first and foremost the athlete herself.

«I hadn't been on the podium in a road race since the G5 category, practically six years ago. I feared the initial flat sections and hoped to be able to attack the climb in the leading positions. I still can't explain what happened in the final. But since the beginning of the season, I've been achieving surprising results that are exceeding my wildest expectations».

Successes to share with the team, with her family, and also with the Trinx bicycles, recently awarded by the Chinese Bicycle Industry Association for their excellent design.
