Lucia Bramati's 24th-place finish in the Under 23 XCO race concluded the first act of the Trinx Factory Team's overseas trip.

At Lake Placid, home of the penultimate round of the 2025 World Cup, the 22-year old Italian (pictured by Maxime Schmid) started from the front row after an excellent eighth-place finish on Friday in the short track race.

Even in Sunday's competition, Lucia tried to raise her level, keeping pace with the world's best for as long as possible. This effort demonstrated the athlete's determination and willingness to test herself at the highest level. However, the initial overspeed took its toll in the second half of the race, where the Trinx Factory Team rider had to ease off the accelerator, slipping to a 24th-place finish.

Before the end of the season, the Italian biker will have two more chances to compete with the best Under 23s on the planet. The MTB World Series circus will now move to Canada, where the final stage of the World Cup will take place on the trails of Mont Sainte Anne from October 9th to 12th. The first appointment will be on Friday the 10th with the short track race; the grand finale will be on Sunday the 12th with the XCO race.
