A day after the last stage of the Italia Bike Cup in Courmayeur, a circuit that saw Laura Squarise win among the U23s and Lucia Bramati finish third among the Elites, the Trinx Factory Team obtains further international placings thanks to Pietro Cao and the brothers Thobias and Zoe Del Ponte, who today participated in the 28th edition of the Xco Kamnik in Slovenia.

In the C1 class competition, Pietro Cao, in his first year among the Under 23s, competed in the Open event, finishing 17th. This was another international experience for him, following the races not only in Italy but also in Croatia in April. It was the perfect way to get to grips with his new, skilled opponents and build a solid foundation for the summer competitions.

The same reasoning can be applied to junior Thobias Del Ponte, who achieved his best international finish of the first half of the season in Slovenia. He finished fifth, secured in a thrilling head-to-head with local biker Nejc Teran. Fifth place also went to young Zoe Del Ponte, who will remember this Sunday as a rewarding trip abroad, testing herself against her Eastern European peers.
