The good news is that, despite the two crashes she was involved in, the medical tests carried out at the private clinic in Lenzerheide have ruled out fractures or serious physical problems for Lucia Bramati.

This is the only positive note of the Sunday of the Trinx Factory Team, which today saw its Under 23 (in the photo by Maxime Schmid) busy in Switzerland in the Olympic Cross Country of the eighth round of the MTB World Series.

The young Italian, coming off a positive short track performance on Friday, was first involved in a crash at the start, forcing her to restart from the back of the peloton. Once she managed to climb to 29th place, she collided with another competitor and she was forced to retire.

Taken to the swiss clinic, the athlete was discharged after four hours. She suffered a lot of bruises, disappointment, and bitterness, but fortunately, nothing was broken.

The team will now have two weeks off to recover their shape and morale before the last two World Cup rounds in the United States and Canada.
